I've never tried "Maniçoba", maybe one day.... Between Muqueca Bahia and Espírito Santo, I prefer Muqueca Capixaba...., but it depends on the palate, as both have their charm....lol
I agree in relation to the moquecas, they are both good, albeit different. For the maniçoba, it is quite different from what we usually eat in Rio. Quite an experience, I thought!

Yes, but not as intense as in the USA
